Exciting Ministries Drops Game-Changing Youth Leadership Program in Cleveland featuring Christian Curriculum and Technology!

CLEVELAND, OH – [OCTOBER 2024] – Get ready, Cleveland! Exciting Ministries is about to shake things up with a dynamic partnership with the Ashbury Senior Computer Community Center (ASC³), taking residence in the East Cleveland and West Cleveland facilities for running Christian-based youth programming. 

Rosetta Bey Daniels, an Ordained Minister and the visionary behind Exciting Ministries, is pumped about this new venture. “We’re all about empowering our community in Christ’s love and we’re accomplishing this mission in a  most significant way through serving our youth, imparting our gifts, talents, and skills into their lives during our engagement with them. From experience and research, I know that receiving focus and support in what positively motivates our youth and young adults to thrive is a preferred choice over the pool of counter-productive activities available to them. Knowing this, I am compelling superstars of missionaries and professionals to join the journey as we are taking it to the next level,” she says. “This program is named Young Achievers for Christ so our youth know that they can truly accomplish anything they set their minds to…together! It’s a team mentality with the expectation of hope that comes from Jesus Christ alone. I am beyond excited as we unpack the passion and purpose of our youth for identifying goals and achieving them from their God-given vision. They are going to have access to tools they can apply to so many projects and activities and be given encouragement and insight on how to impact the people around them, because that’s what good leaders do! They will learn how to level up their success with Young Achievers for Christ. And the best part? It’s faith-filled fun for everyone!” 

Here’s what’s on deck:

1. Biblical Studies: Christian learning of from Bible stories with relatable Bible characters, demonstrating leadership characteristics, and much more through group reading, writing, and fun activities await in the curriculum My A.C.E. Decree Activity Book for Kids.
2. Organizational Skills: Goal setting, journal writing, time and task organization are featured activities that will help youth participants successfully manage time and create healthy study habits that produce successful results when applied to general learning.  
3. Journal Writing: Writing as an expression and writing notes from information reviewed will creatively express fun and productive ways to journal long-term for multiple projects and endeavors. 
4. Creative Writing: Creative writing varying from writing songs, stories, poetry, and more will be explored to express in written form passions and subjects that motivate each student.
5. Goal Setting: Participants will explore the opportunities for setting daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, and goals for the year with the steps in between on how to accomplish these goals, and given motivational tools within the curriculum that help them persevere with confidence on how to patiently pursue and grow throughout the journey of setting and accomplishing goals. Students will also receive help with resume writing and creation of portfolio presentations applicable to interests and identified vision in business. Basic steps can be explored from the curriculum and transferred digitally. 
6. Technology: Participants will be introduced to the world of digital literacy, beyond social media and video game apps, to correlating and accessing the realization of their vision and how it relates to their world and community for social responsibility. Students will have access to typing, researching, special presentations relative to subject matter, and more, in a most responsible and efficient way. 
7. Study Skills: Youth program participants will navigate through activities that provide structure, repetition, organization or time, projects, and goals, as well as provide strategies for research and documentation that can be applied to various subjects and that support general learning.

But wait, there’s more! ASC³’s founder Wanda Davis is bringing the digital literacy heat. “We’re making sure our youth can slay in the digital world,” Davis explains. “Using technology safely, effectively, and efficiently is a great formula for long-term personal and professional success! Confidence coupled with responsible and productive focus is where it is when it comes to tech skills!”

This dynamic approach aims to foster a supportive community environment rooted in faith and equipped with modern skills, where our youth can learn from each other and contribute with a greater impact in their community. It’s like a faith-based, tech-savvy family reunion!

The Young Achievers in Christ program is currently serving ages 6 years to 18 years, encouraging community volunteers inclusive to high school college level volunteers* to participate as program assistants. *All Exciting Ministries staff and volunteers must complete a full and recent criminal FBI & BCI background check  federal (FBI) background check ;  Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) check
